Hello, firstly I am grateful for the availability of the great ICVL Dataset! However, all the files are too big to download easily and I also don't need all the videos indeed. So I am wondering how to know the type and contents of the videos just according to their names so that I can download some of them conveniently. In other words, what is the rule that the files are named after? (for example, AA_001_01_20140502_01.avi). I am eager to know this and looking forward to getting your sincere reply!

From the video name, we can't know which actions included in the video. I can share one Excel file that summarizes all of the information. You can find your required activities from Excel and download the needed videos.

Let's see the video name you have given 'AA_001_01_20140502_01.avi.' The video name starts from 'AR' or 'AA.' It means that Action Recognition or Action Activity. The different people named differently. The '001' means the index of the video, and '01' is the camera ID. After then, the '20140502' is the date for recording this video. And the last '01' seems redundant. It represents the number of extracting data from our CCTV server.
