Team's Response

Reason for rejecting changing the severity to "VeryLow": It is clearly stated inside the "edit" command success message as well as the UG that if the user has edited patient name or patient NRIC, they have to make sure to update the changes to any relevant appointments, using the 'editappt' command. Hence, it seems like the bug reporter has mistakenly interpreted the expected behavior.

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: The fact that the behaviour is the same as specified in the UG, it does not mean that this is not a feature flaw.

A feature flaw is something that the app should have but do not have. It does not make much sense if the user has to change the information in appointments manually after he/she changed patient information.

Imagine you are a doctor, and the patient has 10 upcoming appointments due to chronic disease. It is very tedious and inconvenient to have to change all 10 appointments. What if the doctor missed one of them? What if the patient has a condition that requires treatments strictly by schedule?

If the user has to manually change every appointment of the patient, how is this app any different from the traditional way of updating appointment info?

I am not saying this is a functionality bug, but updating appointment information automatically with patient info change is a critical feature that is lacking in this application.

 Issue severity

Team chose [severity.VeryLow] Originally [severity.Medium]

Reason for disagreement: I disagree because this feature flaw is not merely cosmetic. The lack of such feature creates great inconveniece for users.

Furthermore, it is something that will be encountered VERY often because every time a patient updates his or her information, this problem will surface. It will greatly impede the usability of this application.

Therefore, the severity of this flaw is definitely NOT very low.
