Some of these vocab words have cadence/tone markings that are different than I’m used to.

  1. For ᏥᎪᏩᏘᎭ/ “I see her/him”, I believe there should be a grave accent on “gowh” and an : mark on “gowh”, so that it reads ji:gòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 2.
  2. On ᏥᎪᏩᏘᎭ/“I see it”, I think there should be a grave accent on “gowh” and an : on “gowh”, so that it reads jigòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 3.
  3. I think on ᎦᏥᎪᏩᏘᎭ there shouldn’t be an : on the “ga”. I think there should be a grave accent on the “gowh” and an : on “gowh”, so that it reads gaji:gòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 6.
  4. On ᏕᏥᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I think the “ji” should have an acute accent, “gowh” should have a grave accent, and there should be an : on “gowh”, so that it would read de:jígòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 7.
  5. I think ᎯᎪᏩᏘᎭ/“you see her/him”, I think it needs both a grave accent and an : on the “gowh”, so that it would read hi:gòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 9.
  6. For ᎯᎪᏩᏘᎭ/“you see it”, I think there needs to be an : on “gowh” so that it reads higowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 10.
  7. I believe ᎦᎯᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I think there shouldn’t be an : on “ga”. I think there should be both a grave accent and an : on “gowh”, so that it reads gahi:gòwh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 13.
  8. On ᏕᎯᎪᏩᏘᎭ, I think there should be an acute accent on “hi” and an : on “gowh”, so that it reads de:hígowh:tíha. See Durbin’s Grammar Guide, page 268, number 14.
