The first player to connect doesn't see a board until the second player connects
follow up games are produced successfully (almost) with pieces being taken from the winner
Once the winner loses we saw bugs

We saw a weird interaction where white won 2 games, lost the right pieces, then lost game 3. At the start of game 4 white was missing a queen instead of having all its pieces.
