Color based quantity:

Quantity 0 in chest RED Quantity 1-3455 in chest ORANGE Quantity 3456 in chest GREEN

It would be nice when buying and selling items to be able to tell if a shop is full. Config options could be added to set how much of an item is RED, ORANGE, and GREEN.

What would the benefit over the current stock counter be or is this just meant as an alternative?

Benefit would be for extremely large shops with hundreds sometimes thousands of chests. Quality of life things seeing the quantity as a colour.
