Because the list command has multiple separate formats and arguments that cannot be easily presented in one line, the team felt it appropriate to list them generically and allow the user to seek clarification from the user guide where all the list functionalities are easily hyperlinked to. This could be fixed in the future by printing the command usage when a user types 'list'.

Reason for disagreement: Because the list command has multiple separate formats and arguments that cannot be easily presented in one line, the team felt it appropriate to list them generically and allow the user to seek clarification from the user guide where all the list functionalities are easily hyperlinked to.
However, listing recurrences is not generic (it is an extension of list
), and is listed in the help command. Why is filtering not handled in the same way? Perhaps it should have been done as:
-> Listing your tasklist...
-> Filtering your tasklist...
-> Listing a recurrence...
This could be fixed in the future by printing the command usage when a user types 'list'.
seems to suggest that there is an easy alternative fix as well.
Perhaps more in depth instructions for filtering like
list [--filter <argument>] [--filter <argument>] ...
can be included, similar to the User Guide? Specific instructions for listing recurrence is provided below the highlighted line, so perhaps detailed instructions for filtering should be included as well, rather than the generic one as given currently.
