I've just seen in the download page that there is the commonui-plugin... Is it
the same thing that http://code.google.com/p/gwtquery-ui/ but translated into
pure gwt?

No, it is not.
- Commonui is an extension written in java for gwtquery, it is thought to
facilitate the porting of jquery plugins to java using gwtquery. Selectable,
Draggable and Droppable use this. Probably Commonui will be part of the
gwtquery core soon.
- GWTQuery-ui is a wrapper for the jquery-ui library. It exposes this library
to gwt using a gwtquery like syntax, but it needs to load jquery and jquery-ui.
