GUI Client won't load/connect [BUG] #6569

Closed Pheature18 closed 3 years ago

Pheature18 commented 3 years ago

Describe the bug So I installed the base app and established farms but set it up wrong and maxed out my C drive and had to force close and manually delete volumes before windows would function correctly. I have since corrected my drive space issues and would like to go back to farming but now when I open the app it just sits on the "Connecting to wallet" screen forever. I have uninstalled, deleted all temporary files, re-installed as administrator and it still saves my initial setup somewhere and won't let me do a totally fresh install. I have also manually opened the port suggested in the guide hoping that would help it connect.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Attempting to re-open or re-install the GUI client reproduces this issue 100% of the time

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error Can't get the client to load far enough to access this menu

Expected behavior GUI client loads, connects and shows farm plots
