@dianaclem sorry, this was more of an off-handed comment that I made today. It's up to the browser to ask (and it often will). Don't think it's an issue to track.
I just didn’t know how to test. I still would like to test it. (see I listen to what you say in those meetings ☺)

Ah, well it’s a little hard to test repeatedly because the browser will save your settings.
Probably the easiest way is to open the browser in incognito/private mode and login to the site. Incognito/private doesn’t pay attention to previous settings you’ve made. So, anytime you search by your current location, the browser should ask your permission before your location can be viewed on the app.
