Warning for opening shows with groups #9

Warning when opening shows after groups have been made or deleted should be more thorough

code-warriors-llc commented 6 months ago

@HunterACole - What is the purpose behind showing the warning message when opening the show? Let's consider a scenario where a user creates more than four groups for a particular show or without a show, we would need to display four warning messages to the user, which I believe is not user-friendly. If we only show a message like, The group is associated with the show,' then there is no meaningful reason. We need to display the axis name associated with the group to make it more meaningful.

In this revision, I made some adjustments to improve clarity and coherence. Let me know your thoughts on the above based on that we will implement it.

What you say makes sense to me. This note was in the old notes tracking on got transferred over, so I'm not entirely certain about it. @jsavageflyhouse may have more input here to clarify

@jsavageflyhouse please have a look on this point.

I will look this over to see if I can remember what the exact thought was

Circling back to this, where a warning would be most useful is when cue data in a show will be changed because axis in those cues are now part of groups programmed in other shows. I can further explain this in a meeting as needed
