Multipart Signs #85

Similar to torches, make signs convert to multiparts once multiple signs are placed in a block space.

Grossbaaffe commented 10 years ago

I saw buttons and lever are mutipart too. It's nice. It may be wonderful to make multipart all vanilla blocs that let some free space in blocks (ladders, fences, carpets, pressure plates, rail tracks, vanilla repeaters and comparators and so on....

Chicken-Bones commented 10 years ago

Repeaters and Comparators are out as PR has them and a vanilla implementation is not worth the bother. I'd rather not do anything with rails because I don't understand them enough to know how entities would react to them being multiparts.

Pressure plates sound solid and fences may be possible

What about signs? I could make my chest rooms more compact ;)

Chicken-Bones commented 10 years ago

Yes signs will be in.

Remember it.. Remember....

@Chicken-Bones Extra Utilities adds multipart fences, you might wanna check how RWTema did that and do something similar for the vanilla fences.
