I recently found an annoying bug in the latest 1.7.10 version of NEI and I wanted to share it with you.
Here is how to reproduce it:
-create a new world
-switch to creative+
-get a different item in every row
-use CTRL + mouse wheel to scroll through rows of your inventory
-save and exit
-start the game and enter the world
-use the CTRL + mouse wheel again after entering the world
The result is that one or two rows of items will be duplicated and the items previously in that spot will be removed.
