SAME!!! I have no idea why nothing is showing! I tried doing the whole Ctrl + o as well but nothing is showing! It worked like a charm until 3 weeks ago

Check if you have ThinkBigCore, that mod was the reason NEI was not showing up at least for me. If you have ThinkBigCore then i suggest you to delete it and the delete the mods that use that Core mod.
