Adding to existing person through edit command tedious

Issue

Adding of tags requires users to input the tags that they still wish to keep.

For example: Amy here has recovered and I want to add a remission tag:

All her previous tags are lost:

Justification: This causes the editing and changing of tags for multiple users to be tedious and time-consuming, which goes against the product's intention to make the process of managing patients fast and efficient

Team's Response

This is the purpose intended for our status field, which does not require a user to retype all the statuses. We deem this to not be in the scope of our app. Having already implemented a feature specifically for this purpose, our use case is already fulfilled and there is a easy, non tedious way for the user to achieve the same goal.
