Users required to memorise Ward names to transfer wards

Say I want to trnsfr a patient to another ward. This is the standard process I have to take

1. Go to lsward
2. Memorise/ write down name of ward to transfer
3. Find person / lspat
4. Find persons index
5. use tfrward command

I would argue that this is a issue as:

• Wards are case sensitive, a typo means that the patient is added to the wrong ward
• This makes the process alot more time consuming, which goes against Patientist's goal to make the process fast and efficient
• Multiple spaces between words of a ward name is recognised as different wards, thus typos maybe costly and can affect operations

Team's Response

This is an issue on convenience and not where a feature is missing. Solving this issue would require a UI redesign, which would require a significant amount of work. The app already reasonably satisfies the stated functionality of allowing ward transfers, and UI improvements which are high effort and do not relate to the useability of a core feature are postponed to future iterations.

It is also good to note that ward transfers are not that common, so the time wasted in the rare occurrence of a ward transfer would likely not be that relevant.
