I was wondering for what this library is designed for?

Hi @cedricve ! It's a collection of helper scripts to encode whole directories of videos using x264 or x265 codecs. I use this to transcode my videos (from camera or smartphone) before storing them on the remote backup server. The transcoding saves a lot of space space (sometimes output files are 10% of the originals) Tom.
