I'm guessing "the page" here is the view once someone clicks "Home" on the web app after accepting or declining an invitation and that "nothing happens" means the user gets neither a confirmation nor an error upon changing his/her password.
I think the interface is just unclear. Because of recent changes in the data structure that we haven't handled yet for the browser version (https://github.com/ChildMindInstitute/mindlogger-web/issues/51), the browser-based web application currently only handles invitations and password resets; the mobile app is where users can actually complete activities. After your report, I prioritized the issue of clarifying the invitation interface just above restoring functionality to the web app.
All that said, I believe you successfully both accepted your invitation and changed your password. You should be able to download the mobile app, log in (with your new password) and complete activities.

Thanks again for testing MindLogger, and extra thanks for sumbitting a bug report. We've updated the interface for accepting invitations and changing passwords and would like to know if the update is clearer. I've created a new invitation for you (for the same applet, so accepting this one will effectively do nothing except show you the new navigation if you accepted the previous one)
Please try again and let us know if the changes help.
