This issue occurs on Windows because the BCP app is not yet code-signed. We'll soon fix this. We're basically waiting for our Certificate and our Windows build machine 😉 To get the latest version uninstall manually, then downlaod latest (10.0.7
), and then install.
Solved in Nitro App (fka BananaCakePop) with version 20.0.2
. If you have installed a lower version of Nitro before, make sure to uninstall first.

Every time I open BCP, I am asked if I'd like to update its version, even though no updates are available. This is also the case if I go to
Banana Cake Pop > Check for Updates
in the menu bar.Steps to reproduce

Actual Prompted to upgrade. Selecting 'Sure' has no effect.
