tried it, device /dev/disk/by-label/CHIMERAOS_202402 times out. suggestions?
I tend to have the time out error on my PC, depending on what port I plug the drive in. Either way, I just installed ChimeraOS stable 45-1 using Apr 1st ISO on my LCDeck without an issue. I'm using Valve's own docking station, btw.

I've trying using a usb-c to usb-a adapter directly into the SD and a genaric usb-c hub, but no dice.

Go into the UEFI (hold vol +) there’s a setting I. There relating to usb mode, it will be on drv (I think) change it to xhci and then you should be able to boot.
Was mentioned somewhere for bazzite but it also got the chimera installer booting for me
