Tweet color bar #6

I was checking out the site and noticed that it looks like tweets are colored by the first hashtag in them. That makes some tweets on the 'Music' tab appear gray instead of blue. That's fine, but I thought of an idea to highlight the tweets. Here's my suggestion:

1) Tweets on a specific tab would all be the same color 2) All tweets have a the color bar underneath them and we light the appropriate sections up when they have specific hashtags.

Thoughts?

I'm pulling down the project again to poke on this and some other ideas.

Doug and I noticed this and didn't know exactly what to do about it. If a tweet has #nolafood and #nolamusic in it, what color should it be? Maybe this is a question for Ryan.

The other thing you should know is that i reworked all the front end design and merged it to master to get it live quickly. I need to move those changes into the develop branch which is the latest version of the site. This is the version that Doug has been preparing on the silex framework. I was hoping to move that work over tonight, but i'm wiped out, going to bed. So new features or updates need to be made to the develop branch.

I was going to ask how specific the parameters are for the hex value to be associated with the hashtag?

Can we randomize hex values for a hashtag? This could be interesting for #nolasaints—the style would either be black or gold. It would also be neat if the #nolafood section contained varying colors of red and orange (just a thought).

@BarrettConrad the color bar idea is pretty interesting, but may take away from the color application technique being a strong visual (& I still plan to pull back those intense colors now that I'm seeing them in context). I can work on a mock up or two over the next few days and see what everyone thinks.

@brianberlin interesting question which I can try tackling based on @BarrettConrad's color bar suggestion, OR maybe the tweet would show up in both sections (one red & one blue)?
