Path screen not displaying thumbnail images for lessons in Safari #90

Issue Description & Expected Outcome: On the path screen when a milestone is expanded the lesson card should contain a thumbnail image of the lesson based on it's URL.

Symptoms: This works as expected in Chrome 59, but in Safari there is just a white container where the thumbnail should be displayed. The Javascript console shows no errors or warnings.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Click 'Library' in navbar
  2. Click on any path in library screen
  3. Open a milestone to reveal lessons and you'll see that thumbnails are not displayed. Simply and empty container where they should be displayed.

Resolution: TBD
