I was having some trouble the other day because I need to "OR" commands and thought of this. Not sure if you'd be able to implement it but how about having 2 (or more) searches possible at once. An example would be:
Search 1: ~red_hat ~blue_hat cat
Search 2: ~red_hat ~blue_hat dog
In such a situation, you would be able to get all picture with the red or blue hat and cat or dog.
Probably improbable, but thought I'd throw it out there.
