Maintenance of project #52

Hi @Chive ,

We would like to know the current status of maintenance of the library so we can support it. Maybe you need at help from my side? I can manage that repo as a collaborator and can be one of maintainer at PyPI. Already mentioned about my proposal at issue which has open PR for fixing that issue

I think at this point it's safe to say the project has been abandoned.
