Trying to process this font FandolKai.zip produces a lot of artifacts. Here is one example I studied more carefully char_36864 - char #36864 char_36873 - char #36873

Please try out ckohnert's fork, he's fixing many of these artifacts.

Should be fixed in the latest version by scanline pass.
