avoid Virus detection. #11

The latest version is being flagged as a virus by Windows Defender and Firefox. Could you provide an additional ZIP file to prevent these issues in the future, please?

How can you be sure that ZIP file won't have false positives?

Because I have the same issues with 7-ZIP-SFX files.

I temporarily disabled the virus scanner to extract your file, the virus scanner did not react to the extracted files.

By the way, you could also use native 7-ZIP files to maintain compression. My thought with ZIP is only compatibility.

Let's test it. I took the contents of the 2024.04.15 release and compressed them with ZIP format: opus-tools.zip Does your antivirus flags it?

"My" Windows Defender shows nothing about the file and is happy with its life. Firefox gives a warning, and VirusTotal completely freaks out. O.o
