Meteor Client is not compatible with OptiFine/OptiFabric.

I understand you are "trying" to help, but necroing an old thread probably isn't the best thing to do. Moreso because the account was clearly made to post this issue then abandoned not long after. It's also worth noting that older hardware will sometimes not support the required OpenGL spec that sodium needs.

c'est la vie 🤷 running modern games requires modern hardware

I would like to agree, but sodium needs OpenGL 4.6+, whereas minecraft itself only needs 3.2+ Plus, this game isn't really modern, there are still a lot of OpenGL 1.1 calls within the game itself without sodium.

Any hardware made after 2017 should work with 4.6. Also, Sodium seems to work on Apple devices 🤔
