Translucent Blocks are glitched #122

Open Saberconn opened 3 years ago

Saberconn commented 3 years ago

If I were to enable a shader (such as BSL or SEUS), then everything will work fine, until I hold a translucent block, such as stained glass or ice. When I hold or drop one of these items, any other translucent blocks' (including water, ice, stained glass, and stained glass panes) textures will be completely out of place, yet the hitbox and the physical block itself will still remain in its correct position.

Also ignore my framerate; I have a not very high-end PC, and I'm using BSL shaders. 2020-12-16_18 43 52

Have you double checked this doesn't also happen when using stand-alone OptiFine? If it doesn't, what other Fabric mods (if any) are you also using?

@Chocohead Sorry that I wasn't able to respond earlier. I got locked out of my account.

Anyway, I did use mods when I noticed this weird glitch, but that was not the problem, as when I disable OptiFabric, the world looks and acts normal. Even after disabling every mod on here (and only using OptiFabric), this glitch still occurs. I also happened to notice that the shaders have nothing to do with the problem, as disabling them does not fix the problem.

As for using my OptiFine profile (both this and my Fabric profile run 1.16.3), I have no problems. 2021-01-14_19 03 55 This is a picture of me in the same Minecraft version, holding the same block, but running on OptiFine rather than OptiFabric. The water does not appear broken.
