Last time I tried, replacing fprintd with some other PAM authenticator did not result in the GNOME lock screen showing a fingerprint unlock option. If someone can get it to work with GNOME, that would be great.

Btw whoever implements this will either have to maintain it or fork.

I will not maintain it
- GNOME screen locker is not written in Rust
- I only write Rust
  - So I cannot develop GNOME screen locker
