As this program is targeted for fast typist, we would prefer clarity in exchange of simplification as many people have different abbreviations for different words. Since this is still one word, it would not make much fuss if you type fast. It could be noted that we could add additional features to allow users to change the command words to the one of their liking for seasoned users, but for new users of the application, accommodation has more meaning than any other shortforms.
If you do a google search for short forms of accommodation:
I believe command words being clear is more important than cutting words, unless it is a name like Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology where there needs a shortform KAIST

Reason for disagreement: Fast doesnt mean accurate. I may be fast but miss out the c or m in accommodation twice and have to retype the whole command again. If it happens multiple times, users can get frustrated. It can be shortened to for eg. acc to prevent miscommunication.
Since there are only 4 types of cost available for edit, instead of asking the users to type the whole word accommodation which is prone to errors since it is so long, perhaps consider shortening the word or have alternatives short forms to replace the word.
