In past months we worked on the other side of the bridge (Tendermint LC on Celo), and hopefully, soon we should have a working PoC for Celo-Cosmos bridge.
To name a few things we work on now:
- tendermint light client - the core should work out of the box, but it's not production-ready yet.
- IBC Wasm Manager - The ICS landed and we already have an initial implementation. We're working with the core team to apply some changes to the IBC interface and looking forward to merging soon.
- hermes relayer - we're trying to adjust the Hermes relayer to our needs
- merkle / ic23 / Patricia proofs
- Celo light client updates (mostly deps)
Within a few weeks' time, I would expect us to have a working bridge PoC, though I can't promise that. As you can see ^^ we are getting close, so stay tuned :)
