Can't spawn wither #109

I was getting really into this pack but this bug has killed my progression

basically when I tried to spawn the wither the structure would disappear as if it was about to spawn but would be replaced with a single wither skeleton skull on the ground above where I placed the last skull and no wither would spawn. I would do this no matter what orientation I tried it in. so finally I tried to /summon him and that errored out.

Here is the log of a new world I created to test this and double check that it wasn't just a bugged world.

as an update, I redownloaded the pack to be sure everything was in place. I then tried to check the other buildable entities, snowman, and golems. snowmen work fine but golems can't be spawned with the /summon command and when built by the player are invisible...

You cant spawn the wither in the overworld if that is the case.

I didn't read the log but I found this in betterwithmods.cfg :

    # WARNING: Stops all non-player created Iron Golem Spawns
    B:"Disable Village Iron Golem Spawns"=true

after i set it to false, all the invisible golems appaired and now i can make them normally and use /summon villager_golem. im guessing this setting somehow affects player created golems. golem
