Due to the nature of the mob, the Mimicube will mimic your gear and held items. But the disarming enchantment still applies. So all a player has to do to dupe any item is hold it in their offhand and start hitting the Mimicube. This will make the Mimicube drop said item. But it doesnt stop there. The Mimicube will also drop the exact amount of the held item.
Say you needed EMC, just hold an high EMC value item in your offhand and start killing the cubes.
