You cannot run CLIPS code from within Atom. You can write it, and there is a create plug-in to help with formatting, etc. You'll need to run your CLIPS code from within a CLIPS shell running in a command prompt — which runs on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems.
Thank you so much for coming back to me with this. I am a student and tried to use Atom as my cross platform for Java, C# and CLIPS but now I'm using the CLIPS IDE to run my CLIPS code and still use Atom for the rest.

I am a relatively new Atom user and had no problem running Java code but struggling with CLIPS I just keep getting this message "Command not configured for CLIPS!". Can anybody help me fix this.
