Completely exclude the PyCharm (.idea) directories from the repo #112

The default 'catch-all' .gitignore for the JetBrains IDE's was not doing a good job at preventing unnecessary commits that contain configuration-specific files that kept being rewritten as development went from machine to machine.

I'm completely removing this folder as I think it is just getting in the way.
