Hi !

Very good plugin, i have started to use it : formatting, creation assistance, ...

But how to use it in french ? How to translate if it's not done ?

Bye

Hello, thank you for your feedback, while i was developing i was thinking about it.... At the moment only English is supported. Because the parser and lexer are generated through antlr, the easiest solution would be to write an antlr grammar for each language. This is the easy part (I speak English, Italian and Spanish, for the other languages with a little help from the comunity...), the hard part is a way to tell the plugin which parser/lexer to use:

I thought about writing a section in tools -> options -> miscellaneaous setting the language to use, but this is not an optimal solution, in fact I could have a project with features written in english, and one written in italian, or even worse (better form a cucumber point of view) within the same project a feature written in one language and another feature in a second language. So how to recognize it and load the right parser/lexer in this case?

Any ideas?

Btw I am very busy at the moment and i am struggling to find the time to fix/ enhance the plugin right now... so don't expect major chances for the next 2 weeks...

Hi,

Cucumber plugin (http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/17939/cucumber-features) provides languages support. I don't know how. I have forked your project in my computer and import him in Netbeans. However, i don't understand all and i don't know especially Java. I haven't the solution and you have busy, it's understandable.

If, when you want/can, you do translation, i can help you for french language :)

Best regards

Great, i will fork that project and see how it does it. And maybe if it still active we can also join forces to make a good working plugin for cuc in NBeans. I will definetly ask for your help when translating to french (i look everywhere for the cucumber (gherkin) language documentation and translation but couldn't find it). Thanks again
