Workaround: Change focus to different TopComponent

Implementation idea:

Add a listener to the current document and update the label accordingly OR
Add a timer, which checks for the branch, every n seconds

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN! FULLL OF BUGS AND OUT OF SUPPORT

THE FUNCTIONALITY IS INTO NB WITH COMMIT integrated.

PLEASE UPDATE README THIS PLUGIN SHOULD NOT BE USED!

@hellboy81: Please do not rant. Be constructive. It is open source. No one is paying me for providing plugins. If you want something to be improved do it yourself and give it back to the community!

Full of bugs? There are two reported bugs. One was reported by myself.

I updated the README file.
