As is mentioned in the title, TaskbarX will go completely transparent after the taskbar is not accessed after a few minutes or so. It seems like it is kind of random at times too. I am using the latest version 1.7.6.0 and am using the transparent with gradient style. But I have also had the same issue with the blur style as well. I usually use the "hide taskbar" feature in Windows and I am using a second monitor. But I have the taskbar on the second screen turned off in TaskbarX and in Windows. I noticed this happening when I first turned off the taskbar on the second screen. So it may have something to do with that feature. The only thing that is visible is the 2 pixel strip at the top of the taskbar when it is hidden. The only way to get the style to reappear is to click the start button.
I am on a Windows 11 laptop, but I also noticed this issue before I upgraded from Windows 10
