I've sort of encountered this before, but haven't been able to reproduce reliably.
But, an Android user has reported a similar issue–
Sometimes, when entering a dungeon, the movement buttons and combat buttons are not responsive.
However, going into the game's Pause Menu > Options > Input > Touchscreen Configurator, adjusting the button positions or options, then resuming, resolves the issue.
User also mentioned changing screen resolution beforehand, so I wonder if the internal button positions need to be reinitialised after the screen resolution changes or something.
Further feedback from another Android user (version 0.3.4a):
The first time I proceeded to Tallowmere's Keep Room, all right-side buttons except for the shield were unresponsive.
Pressing the other buttons activated the shield, with associated feedback even.
I closed the app, and upon loading that save, all the buttons worked as expected.
Certain touchscreen options were only initialized properly if their value existed within the Options.Local.ini file, but said file does not exist when the game first starts on a device.
Now:
All options are initialized during startup, even if the INI file does not exist.
Added new method: Option.LoadOption, called during startup via Options.ImportValuesFromFileSystem
