Please remove the android->linux string translation in gyp #344

The string translation at 
https://code.google.com/p/gyp/source/browse/trunk/pylib/gyp/generator/make.py#88
 (similarly in other make files) makes it very complex to account for 
differences in a build between android and linux. Please consider removing this 
automatic translation or at least make it optional.
