Installation bug #372

Open FalconStrike opened 8 months ago

After the install is finished with the old build after I reboot the system my system freezes also with the new script still the same issue!!

@FalconStrike this script is really buggy, I think Chris created it to work only for his scenario. It never worked for me correctly. I've struggled with getting GRUB and partitioning work on my systems with NVMEs. I think you will be better off using a standard archinstall script that comes in an Arch ISO.

PS boot into your Arch ISO and just type

archinstall

it is a much more comprehensive script that you can make pretty much do what Archtitus script does.

@FalconStrike also a side note, when Arch is installed with KDE for example you are not saving any resources or space. My Arch installation with KDE consumes more resources and RAM than Nobara for example. But Nobara comes with whole bunch of things pre-configured and work right of the bat. Not sure why you are going Arch path but if for saving resources it is definitely not worth the headache. Try MX Linux it comes with the support for most HW out there right now.
