I'm surprised that you couldn't get your 7800XT to go beyond 40%-50% on Linux. Mine reaches over 90% when playing Cyberpunk, RDR2, Witcher 3, and most other games. I'm using Bazzite. I thought Hell Divers 2 worked for you on Bazzite? Sorry, I can't keep up with all your streams.

Hey Chris I'am thinking of switching to Debian or something that is Debian base from a Ubuntu flavor not the official Gnome one, but my problem is that Debian does not have a GUI software updater like Ubuntu does. When Debian 13 Trixie rolls out I would have to mess around in the CLI a lot and I fear of breaking something and having to start all over again. I've seen so many tutorials on how to update from 11 to 12 soon there will be 13 and there are many ways to do it I don't know which way to go. Can you do a video on how to upgrade from Debian 12 Bookworm to 13 Trixie when it's out. Most people do a fresh install how about a upgrade. Debian is the best with Arch I agree with your tier list, but when it comes to a full upgrade that is the only thing Ubuntu is better since there is a GUI option it does everything for you and you just reboot that is my only problem with Debian and taking that important step to switch over.

Completely your choice. I can understand wanting to just have things work when you use them. I feel like your videos have been indispensable in my migration to Linux and I am grateful that you took the time to make them.

I'm on Debian 12 with kde just getting dwm (dwm-titus) going, but for some reason virtual machine manager doesn't work/and or see the vm's created under kde I also don't get checked for my password upon opening it(so some kind or permissions thing going on) been googling but no joy..
