well crap was really wanting to do this unfortunately you can't install on non Intel based devices....really it's 2022!

Just got done installing, time to start deleting some sketchy repos in my yum.repos.d directory. Thanks for posting Chris.

Article doesn't say how doing this makes Hugo be the latest version. And is Homebrew using the same repos as the distro's native package manager ?

This builds directly from git. So it is always the latest version. The package managers inside linux distros are just pre-compiled binaries.

Thanks for this, and your video. I used to use HomeBrew on OS X but never knew it was available for Linux as well. Giving it a try now :-)
