Hello, do these changes persist between OS updates or are they wiped and need to be done after each update?

They are wiped. I switched to flatpak and homebrew, since all this is saved every update. It leaves the /home folder alone.

I stopped at about 60% of this, without turning off read-only rootfs. Lutris has a flatpak now, you can use an overlayfs instead of making rootfs r/w, and updates don't wipe out your stuff. Check out qbert.

@martinjakubec If steam updates the SteamOS image, you have to go through the steps again. If you install a program via flatpak, it does not change.

Hm, what would be the recommendation to get docker installed and running properly, without worrying about it being wiped whenever there's a steamOS update?

I went through all of the steps of installing new keys, refreshing the keys and even attempting to do the cheat way, but keys refuse to work, and I can't edit pacman.conf. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBvlMvivCnI
