Any plans to look at Android 14 for debloat? I have a Pixel 4 on Android 13 and am trying to determine whether it is time to upgrade to Pixel 8 pro. Any opinion?

I decided to trade in the P4 for a P8. P8 has been delivered and the P4 has been received but not credited yet. Total cost was ~$325. I have no plans on carrying it around with me so got a $15 service package. Regardless of the amount of bloat, I do find the P8 more comfortable to use and clearly faster. One of the features of Android 14 is that I can disable more apps and/or handicap them through denying more individual permissions. However, I would really like to turn off the Play Store, Maps, Search, Calendar, Messages, Contacts and as much of the Assistant as posible. I denied Maps the permission to open related apps but would really like to have the disk space back. Here's some interesting points:

• I bought the P8 through Spectrum and was able to find a thread on xda-developers that there is a string that you can dial that confirms that the device's bootlocker can be unlocked by connecting to google which either confirms that the bootlocker is un-lockable. In my case, the response that I got was positive and the reply came within seconds. Unfortunately, the option to unlock the bootloader is still grayed out. Maybe have to wait for Spectrum unlock which is supposed to happen at 60 days on service plan.
• After visiting 5 VZW offices, I found one that gave me the information (account # and release PIN). This involved driving at least 200 miles. The information was good and the phone number was ported in one short phone call to Spectrum. So much for 15 years of VZW service.
• The local Spectrum offices were a total waste of time. I initially visited two local offices and was told that they knew nothing about the promotion on the P8 and would not discuss it.
• Spectrum claims that they are buying bandwidth from VZW. VZW claims that they have customers who have ported to Spectrum but want to return to VZW due to connection and line quality issues. If anyone can advise as to how I determine whose infrastructure I am using I would appreciate it.

Sorry for the wall of text. It should be apparent that this whole process of buying a phone is unacceptable from my perspective.
