unable to install gym-retro/retro #14

i have the exact same issue on linuxmint.

Use stable-retro instead.

it takes time to install compatible verison of these deps.

here it is: gym==0.25.2 gym-retro==0.8.0 importlib-metadata==7.0.1 numpy==1.24.4 pillow==10.2.0 PyQt5==5.15.10

my python version is Python 3.8.18

your python version is 3.11 I saw. it is only support 3.8. see this doc https://github.com/openai/retro
