- Someone authorised should be able to report a new salary for an employee.
- Employee Salary Display
- The system should display the current salaries of all employees.
- Historical Salary Changes
- The system should maintain a record of salary changes for each employee over the past 12 months.
- Role Information
- The system should display the role of the employee.
- Employee anonymous Identification
- All employees should be assigned a unique id/key for unambiguous and anonymous identification.
- Salary Validation/Refution
- The system should provide a mechanism for employees to independently validate or refute the correctness of their reported salary.
- Confirmation/Dispute Tracking
- The system shall record whether an employee has confirmed or disputed their reported salary.

- Alternative Salary Validation
- Optionally, the system may implement an additional method for validating the correctness of a salary, beyond the individual validation provided by employees.

Project Overview
Problem Space
The goal is to increase salary transparency between employees and the employer. If all financial details regarding salaries are disclosed by the employer monthly, the employees have the opportunity to address details that they deem unfair. Ensuring a fair and transparent salary system can be critical for the longevity of a company as employees can feel correctly compensated. The benefits for the employer are, hopefully, trust from the employees, which can increase loyalty to the company, which is key in a competitive industry. Companies telling their employees to not disclose their salary is not unheard of, which is what motivated this idea as the employees will not only be able to validate that their salary is correct and gain data regarding the salaries of the other employees for future salary interviews.
