Spacebar not working in Shakes & Fidget #232

In the browser game ‘Shakes & Fidget’, the keystrokes of the space bar are suppressed in the chat.

Hi @Olsen93 thanks for taking the time to file this issue. However, I am unable to reproduce it. I opened the help chat and space bar works perfectly normal in it. What exactly do I have to do?

Thanks for taking your time for this! Sorry for being inaccurate, this issue occurs in the guild chat and also when writing a mail. And yes, the chat in the support center works for me, too.

I've just found out that when I check this box, everything functions correctly. Is this the expected behavior?

Spannend. Dafür habe ich keine direkte Erklärung. Ist das eine installierte PWA?

Hi, ich weiß leider nicht, was eine PWA ausmacht, aber da kommst du hin, wenn du in Edge alle Erweiterungen anzeigen lässt und in dem Fall eben "Modern Scroll" auswählst. Mittlerweile sieht es allerdings so aus, dass man diese Funktion immer wieder deaktivieren / aktivieren muss, damit man schreiben kann. Konntest du das Problem nachstellen? Ich habe es an 3 verschiedenen Rechnern reproduzieren können.

I can reproduce it. But unfortunately I don't think there's anything I can do to fix this. The game developers could. The game is not "telling" in any way that the event (space bar) has already been handled. You can fix it for yourself, too, by either disabling the "custom scrolling functions" in modern scroll or by disabling modern scroll entirely for the page: image

Vielen lieben Dank @Olsen93! Ich liiiiebe sie! 🥰 Etwas konnte ich doch noch machen: Wie du richtig sagst: man braucht es auf der Seite sowieso nicht. Deshalb habe ich jetzt das erste Mal nach über 10 Jahren eine Seite in die Default-Blacklist gepackt, damit es dort standardmäßig deaktiviert ist.

Dieses Addon ist definitiv ein paar Futo Maki wert. :-) Oder eher sowas: IMG_20220901_182401_HDR (1)
