MM exe showing up in Task Manager but not actually opening any window #6

Hey, I'm trying to get ModMaker v2 working so that I can use the soundscript tools for a project I'm working on. When I extract the zip and run the exe, ModMaker shows up in the Task Manager, and even uses CPU, but nothing shows up.

I tried using alt+tab to see if the window was just off screen, but nothing showed up there. I also tried running the exe with administrator permissions, but the same thing happened. I decided to also try the compatibility troubleshooter in case MM just doesn't work with win11, and using the settings it recommends just changes my monitor resolution to something super small without opening anything, and ending the MM task puts the resolution back to normal.

Older pre v2 versions of MM open, but display a .NET 'unhandled exception' error when trying to do anything. image Since, from what I understand, v2 is reprogrammed in a completely different language from the earlier versions, this isn't an issue with v2 at all - I just don't have any alternatives to use instead of v2.

idk what else to try to get MM working, so I'm creating an issue in hopes that I might be able to get help.

MM tries to find your steam installation and refresh it's list of Source mods that you have installed on startup. It may be having a problem reading the gameinfo from one or more of the mods you have installed.

Can you try moving all the mods out of your Sourcemods folder. Try and open MM, see if that works without any mods. If it does not it may be having trouble finding your Steam folder.

If MM open with no mods, close it. Move one mod back into Sourcemods. Try and open MM, see if that works. If it works, close MM, copy the next mod and repeat. If you find one that it does not work with, please let me know the name of the mod.
