Team's Response

The target audience of our product is general practitioner (GP) clinics' staff in Singapore. In the context of Singapore, a normal person's phone number must be 8 digits long and starts with 6, 8 or 9.

Our team has chosen to narrow down our scope to Singapore GP clinic staff and decided to limit the phone numbers to this criteria for better validation and error checking.
