ERROR: Could not get credentials from plex.tv (Error: 6) #8

Im using proxmox and just migrated my working server to a second node for better performance. I try to claim online and it just spins and does nothing. It does say update available update manually, but it didn't say that on the old one for some reason.

After running your script, this is the error I get: ERROR: Could not get credentials from plex.tv (Error: 6)

The script requires two things.

  1. Properly working DNS (so it can find Plex.tv)
  2. A valid internet gateway be configured for the query to get out

You showing (Error 6) is a DNS lookup failure. It comes from the curl statement in the script where it talks to plex.tv

curl (6) couldn't resolve host
